My room was spacious, but the coffee machine was out of order during breakfast.

Try asking for a room with a walk-in shower for a more comfortable experience, especially if you prefer those over bathtubs.

Location. Regarding the room, truth is that I can't value the normal rooms, since they didn't have room and they put us up in a superior one, of course was especially good. big and with all the possible extras.
I didn't like that we chose this hotel because, in addition to a privileged location, it has its own parking lot, and given the dates (San Froilán), we knew that it would be impossible to park. When we arrived we were told that the car park was full because they were overflowing. That didn't seem right. I can understand it but what less than sending a message warning and we would have already tried to arrive before and look for possible parking lots, instead of wasting an hour lost by Lugo looking for a parking lot as close as possible and that was not complete. At the reception, they just agreed with me, but they didn't take any notice.

The hotel is in the middle of a renovation. I was given a refurbished room with a new bathroom, new floor but the beds were with a bad mattress and even worse pillow. The location is very good, near the center. The rooms without a minibar, like mine, gave them complimentary water. Nearby places to eat, self-service right next door, tapas area 5 minutes away. It seems that the hotel wants to improve, but needs more pace to keep up. In spite of everything I will give them another chance and I will stay again next year when I have to go back to Lugo.
Bad bed and pillow. comments on this subject are right. They didn't replace more than the gel or the soap bar in 4 days! I had no choice but to use the bath gel because the pill was disgusting. cleaning was either done by putting up the sign or it was done very late, with a little movement the hotel on the first day was 15:00 and room was not ready.

Location was fabulous. Close to "La Muralla" and Rail station. The old Lugo is beautiful and so much history. Highly recommend visiting Lugo.
Room was hot and damp. Nothing offered for free. Whatever one used there was a charge. Even local, in city, calls...

The combination of a spacious room with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast featured a notable selection of freshly baked European bread. The staff was attentive, providing helpful recommendations. The limited dining options was good. While the overall experience was positive, some facilities appeared in need of updates.

comfortable stay with minor dining issues
The room was very clean and quiet. The staff, especially Carla at the front desk, were pretty good too assist with our situation. Parking was convenient and ample. We particularly liked the decent quality of food offered in the cafe during our unexpected stay indoors.
Dining options were limited during inclement weather.
